Innovative Programming Award

The Innovative Programming Award will be given to homes that have designed and implemented an outstanding program that has demonstrated success in improving resident quality of life/quality of care, enhancing employee development and relationships or engaging community members or groups in the daily life of the home. It can be a one time project or an ongoing program.

Nomination Criteria:

  1. The Innovative Programming Award is open to skilled nursing, nursing, assisted living/residential care and ICF/IID home members.
  2. The program should be reflective of a Best Practices approach showing that your innovative program has resulted in the development of a culture that enables residents to achieve optimal health, satisfaction and dignity; promotes staff development, engagement and nurtures team building; and/or fosters community involvement in the home. This may include, but is not limited to, a pursuit of Culture Change or other efforts to provide more person-directed care.

The Celebrating Excellence Award Selection Committee comprised of an advisory panel of professionals and representatives from the long term care community will review all nominations submitted. The presentation ceremony and luncheon will be held at the Augusta Civic Center on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. Please mark your calendar now and additional event details will be forthcoming.
