Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA)
This is a trained person who is certified to provide medication administration in an assisted living or residential setting. The state approved curriculum can be taught in 35 – 45 hours, depending on the instructor. Students must also demonstrate medication administration competency by conducting supervised medication passes. It is recommended that individuals interested in becoming a CRMA have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old and read at a 10th grade level.
